Some disabled people get married for a few days and then their wives leave them. The reason is because of their disability and lack of income. Furthermore, the life situation of women with disabilities is very difficult in the villages. The condition of women with disabilities in the villages is very bad and they also have no income. They marry disabled women and get her pregnant and their husbands leave them without thinking that the disabled woman is pregnant. What should this woman do at this point of her disability? For the empowerment of persons with disabilities, attainment of education and participation in economic activities are very impartant. It emphasizes the need to strengthen disability statistics in the country, this project seeks to empower the person with disability and help them to become independent and participate in income generating activities taking into account their social-cultural and economic needs. The Global Disability Report demonstrates that disability is not limited to any community, place, religion or society. Most people with disabilities live in extreme poverty and are often stigmatized by society. They have to fight for their right on one side and equalization of opportunities on the other side. The proposed project seeks to develop skills and provide employment to 1000 disabled persons by setting up a training workshop through the Rural Physically Handicapped Center For Rehabilitation. The Global Disability Report demonstrates that disability is not limited to any community, place, religion or society. Most people with disabilitcies live in extreme poverty and are often stigmatized by society. Chittoot district has four revenue divisions. There are 32 mandals in these four divisions. There are 637 Grama Panchayats. These gram panchayats have 3 to 5 villages.Rural Physically Handicapped Center For Rehabilitation serves the rural and remote areas of chittoor district. In this survey, we have identified disabled people aged 18 to 40 years who are qualified for vocational training. There are 12988 disabled people in the service. They cannot come to the training center. The reason is they don't get the buses on time. If they can't come because of the handicap of getting the buses. There are those who have no legs at all. There are deaf and dumb people who cannot come. There are also blind people. They cannot come to the entire vocational center. Rural Physically Handicapped Center For Rehabilitation should arrange a bus for them, bring them in the bus and after taking training at the Vocational Training Center, drop them back at home. The budget has allocated Rs 4000/- stipend to the most destitute persons with disabilities during vocational training. Every disabled person can choose their favorite course for one hour every day. Rural Physically Handicapped Center for Rehabilitation Vocational Training Center has organized these courses. Course details are Computer Training, Mobile Hardware Training, Electrical, Mechanical, Tailoring, Food Processing, Fashion Design, Jewelery Design, Art & Craft, Interior Design. Training Center Vocational Training Center will be held from 9 am to 5 pm. We appoint three trainers for computer training. In this computer, 20 people with disabilities take training in 1 hour and also in tailoring, 20 people with disabilities take training in one hour. And mobile hardware training in 10 electrical, mechanical, 10 in food processing, 10 in fashion design, 10 in jewelery design, 10 in art & craft, 10 in interior design, 110 disabled people take training in one hour. Vocational training center works for 8 hours a day. In a day 110×8=880 disabled people take training in vocational center. The duration of this course is 3 months. In one year, 880×4=3520 people will be trained by the Rural Physically Handicapped Center for Rehabilitation.
In these three years, 10560 disabled people will benefit. A bus from the villages should take 28 people to the training center. In this way, one bus should go to the villages 8 times. 4 buses are required for the vocational training center established by the Rural Physically Handicapped Center For Rehabilitation. Also, three community co-ordinators, one for each mandal, are appointed to meet the disabled in the villages at one place and take the qualified ones from the bus. Sending them to Vocational Training Center. Forming them as self-help groups of disabled persons and providing bank linkage to them. Arrangement of investment from bank for setting up shops for employment with the help of community co-ordinators by giving certificates to disabled persons who have taken training in vocational training.
