Chetana Empowerment Foundation (CEF) is deeply rooted in the mental wellbeing. We have been actively working to make mental health a national priority since 2012. CEF has aims to create awareness of mental illness and reduce the stigma associated with it, with a particular focus on stress, anxiety, depression and relationship issues.
Digital wellness (also known as digital wellbeing or digital health) is the pursuit of an intentional and healthy relationship with technology in personal life.
The project urges students to find balances between social media and in-person relationships, to be responsible digital citizens, and to be kind, safe and aware.
Ideally, students should spend a larger amount of time using technology for productivity, such as learning and innovation, but they also use it for passive consumer tasks like binging on social media to see what their peers are doing, which can trigger “FOMO” — the fear of missing out. Digital wellness lessons will help students to discuss how to balance this use.
FOMO can take a toll on self-esteem and lead to compulsive checking of social media platforms to ensure that an individual isn’t missing out on anything, which can cause problems at the work place and in the classroom
The goal of Digital Wellness and Awareness is to create a positive mental health environment & de-stigmatize mental health in the school students and enhance digital wellness in them.
This Project has been designed for Online implementation purpose of school students which includes digital awareness, preventions and counselling.
Objectively, the project would directly impact Students as primary stakeholder of various Schools. This project includes identification of beneficiaries, execution of sessions, webinars, workshops and counselling sessions.
